Global Youth Philanthropy-Boston (GYP) recognizes the value of our students’ volunteer work through volunteer awards.
President’s Volunteer Service Award-USA
Since 2020, GYP has been certifying the organization for President’s Volunteer Service Award in the USA. GYP has assisted over fifty students to successfully apply for PVSA by providing a wide range of students with volunteer work and projects.

“GYP Volunteer Award” for students worldwide
Ten Candidates for “GYP Volunteer Award in summer 2023 ”
In late 2022, GYP-Boston launched its student volunteer award called the “GYP Volunteer Award” IT is the award for international students worldwide. As the certifying organization for PVSA, GYP uses almost the same standard for the “GYP Volunteer Award” except for the nationality requirement.
GYP-Boston established an Advisors-Mentors Committee for this award from the beginning to manage and administer the award professionally and efficiently.
GYP Volunteer Award requirements:
1. Almost the Same standard as PVSA for international students. Same students’ ages and service hour standards for gold, silver, and bronze awards
2. the candidate must be a member of GYP-Boston students’ clubs
3. the candidate must register with GYP-Boston 6 months in advance
4. the candidate must be guided by one of the Advisors- Mentors Committee members and must provide volunteering activities summery every three months
5. Two yearly awards application dates are October 6 and April 6 each year.
