Global Youth Philanthropy—Boston (GYP) has been a nonprofit organization officially registered in Massachusetts, USA, since March 2020. It holds 501(c)(3) federal tax-exempt status and serves as a certifying organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA), which recognizes outstanding volunteer contributions across the United States.
Since late 2023, GYP has been actively involved in the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks (HNPW), where it has hosted seminars and contributed to global discussions on humanitarian response in 2024 and 2025. GYP is an engaged member of several key humanitarian platforms, including Next Humanitarian and the Environment and Humanitarian Action Network (EHAN).
The theme of GYP’s 2025 HNPW session was:
“Empowering Youth in Humanitarian Action: Digital Innovation for Youth Engagement in Humanitarian Careers & Environmental Training.”
In early 2023, GYP launched the GYP Volunteer Award, an international recognition initiative that honors student volunteers from around the world for their dedication to humanitarian service and meaningful contributions to their communities 2023, the “GYP Volunteer Award” is a volunteer award for students worldwide.

GYP Association:
An association of student clubs, youth philanthropic organizations, and individual students interested in volunteering and philanthropic projects and activities. GYP Association was launched by GYP and a few student clubs in Boston, Chicago, Newton (MA), and Pittsburgh, as well as a few in Silicon Valley, California, New Jersey, and Indiana. In 2023, some outstanding student clubs from China joined us.
Its mission is to provide its members with a bigger platform for youth philanthropic projects and make better social impacts.
